How do I ban a user from a gym?

If a user is misbehaving — for example, spamming 9A sends — they can be blocked within a specific gym.

A user can be banned by the gym admin or any moderator. To do this:

1. Open the Moderation Center in the gym settings.
2. Find the user via search or the member list.
3. Open their profile and tap “Ban”.
4. Enter a reason — it is saved to the ban history.

Once banned, the user can no longer log ascents, leave comments, or make any changes to routes in that gym. The gym becomes read-only for them. You can also find buttons there for removing their ascents and reverting their actions.

To unban, go back to the user’s profile in the Moderation Center.
